Privacy

This site collects nothing about you. Here is how to check that rather than take our word for it: open your browser's devtools, switch to the Network tab, and load any page. Every request goes to this domain. There is no third party on the list.

Analytics

None. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Cloudflare Web Analytics, no tracking pixel. The build fails if a script from another origin appears in the HTML, which is a test rather than a promise.

Cookies and local storage

No cookies. Nothing on the site sets one, which is why there is no cookie banner to dismiss.

One thing is stored in your browser's local storage: the language you pick for the word printed on a sheet, under the key coloring-sheets:lang. It holds a language code and nothing else, it never leaves your browser, and clearing site data removes it. It is there so the site doesn't ask again on the next page.

The advertisement

There is one sponsor, Talisim, and it is a plain link. No ad network, no tracking script, no remotely-hosted image. Their mascot is served from this domain rather than theirs, so they learn nothing about you unless you click. If you do click, the link carries a tag saying you came from here, and nothing else — no identifier, and nothing about which sheet you were looking at.

It is not personalised, because personalising it would need to know something about you. Every visitor sees the same card.

Accounts and email

There are no accounts and no email capture anywhere on the site. Downloads are direct links to files, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing that could be leaked.

The PNG renderer

The "Render PNG" button on a sheet page does its work in your browser using a canvas. The image it produces is handed straight to your downloads. It is never uploaded, because there is no server of ours to upload it to.

Hosting

Cloudflare Pages serves the site. Like any host, Cloudflare processes the requests and may keep short-lived logs that contain IP addresses. That is outside our control and we do not read them.

Children

The site is aimed at the adults who print the sheets, but children will inevitably look at it. Since nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from them either.

If this changes

Adding anything that collects data would mean changing this page, the site's content security policy and a test that currently allows no external origin at all. All three would be visible in the public commit history.
